Operations started in 2008 with 3 CNC machines placed in Pedro’s garage, producing forged steel valves. Pedro and Franco sourced the forgings from the vendors and did the valves machining at the garage.
(Although the cast steel valves currently generate much more profit for the Company, Pedro and Franco are always deeply passionate about the forged steel valves. That was how POVE was started: the forged steel valves.)
Albert Ginsberg joined the Company in 2011 as investor and our 3rd partner. As the Company grew in sales turnover, Pedro and Franco could not cope with the required working capital. Albert pumped in a large amount of money enabling the Company to grow by leaps and bounds. Albert also proved to be a great negotiator and business developer. He negotiated big deals with valve stockists, piping stockings, casting vendors, and valve manufacturing vendors.
In 2012, Albert brought in his friend, Simon Chong, as the 4th partner. Simon is the Money Man and the Strategist. Business continues to flourish with this strategic partnership: 2 persons in Technical aspect of Valves, 1 person with Deep Pocket and excellent Negotiator, and 1 person managing Money matters and implementing Strategies.
In 2014, we aim to start online selling the more popular valves.
