Advantage of Trunnion Ball Valve:
With trunnion ball valve, the ball is anchored at the top and bottom.  Whereas for floating ball valve, the ball in only anchored at the top.  Hence, for trunnion ball valve, the ball movement is better aligned, which is very important for higher pressure rating and larger sizes.
